Eye Shadow...

One important cosmetic that is needed to complete your eyes is eye shadow. The purpose of eye shadow is to draw attention to the person’s eyes. Eye shadow is also used to make the person’s eyes stand out. Eye shadow is usually applied to the eyelids and underneath the eyebrows. There are dozens of different brands of eye shadows, and hundreds of different colors. Eye shadow is most often used as a powder. Then, you would use a brush or even your fingers to apply the eye shadow to your eyelids. What is important about eye shadow is blending. When you use eye shadow you want to make the colors blend instead of just strips of color. You want the eye shadow to look natural on your eyes, and you may even like giving your eyes a smoky look. It all is concentrated around blending. As you should understand now, blending is important. You do not want people to be looking at your eyes because of a crude job on your eyelids. You want people to notice the vibrant colors and how your eyes are distinguished. Eye shadow is common on women everywhere, but eye shadow is also used in theater so as to be able to see the actor’s eyes. Usually when you apply eye shadow, you apply light colors underneath your eyebrows, and the more lively colors on your eyelids. This is because you do not want the bright eye shadow underneath your eyebrows and the light colors on your eyelids. This would add a strange effect, and extinguish the purpose of eye shadow.
